Buzzfeed Worth It: Australian Seafood [EDITOR]

I have been a lead editor on Buzzfeed's Worth It series for the past year, with 2 full seasons under my belt. This is really a show that brings together my extreme love for food with my undying love for editing. Working with these guys to produce a funny, lighthearted, but educational and food-porn-filled end product was rewarding and extremely fun for me. This show won a Streamy Award in 2017, leading to my first ever (but definitely not last) shout out during a live television award show. It was dope. I cried.

Buzzfeed LadyLike Learns To Pole Dance [ASSISTANT PRODUCER,  EDITOR]

This video was a fun challenge as it was the first time I was working with an established brand within Buzzfeed which wasn't Worth It related. This video was brought to me half-filmed, with hours and hours of potentially usable footage and essentially no direction from the producer. She [the producer, Devin] just let me have fun and do what felt right with the edit all while working with me to plan upcoming shoots for the video to make sure we got all the footage we needed for a killer edit. I was very pleased to see the channel's established audience responding positively to my edit and some even called out my fun montage moments specifically !

4TH OF JULY "ANARCHY PARTY" [ANIMATOR, EDITOR, VIDEOGRAPHER]

Shortly after moving into an old Hostess factory near Inglewood, my roommates and I were approached to host a themed 4th of July party in our space. I decided to take shoot the whole thing and ended up creating this little teaser for our Instagram. Quick, sexy edits are probably my favorite to do! 

SH!TS N' GIGS [ANIMATOR, DESIGNER, EDITOR]

A mix of my two favorite non-video related things, video games & comedy, Sh!ts N' Gigs was a short-lived web series featuring Amy Geliebter and myself playing various video games online while laughing and cursing our butts off. It was important for me to create something fun outside of my 9-5 editing job and working on this channel really helped me develop my design and multi-tasking skills. Plus, it felt amazing to have people say they got a chuckle out of watching our videos!

15FOUR ANIMATION REEL [EDITOR]

Before leaving 15Four to move to LA, I was put in charge of editing both  Live Action and Animation reels to go along with their new website. This  video encompasses the past three years of animation work produced for various companies including but not limited to Johns Hopkins, CEA, Navy Federal, and Honest Tea. 

15FOUR LIVE ACTION REEL [MAIN EDITOR]

Before leaving 15Four to move to LA, I was put in charge of editing both  Live Action and Animation reels to go along with their new website. This  video encompasses the past three years of live action work produced for various companies including but not limited to Under Armour, Booz Allen Hamilton, PWC, and Home Depot.

MEET CIENA'S NORTH POLE MARATHONER [EDITOR]

For this project, our client flew one of our directors up to Nova Scotia to film a short promotional video to get people excited about David van de Wetering's journey to participate in the annual North Pole Marathon. This video was shot by a single-man camera "crew" over three days in a sort of "guerilla filmmaker" style.

ARMOUR 39 INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO [EDITOR]

Finally, some product work! This project is essentially a how-to video designed to go along with Under Armour's Armour 39 fitness tracking device. While the learning content isn't the most interesting, I really couldn't complain about editing a video featuring a fast, glitchy track and some cuties in their workout gear. Once the video was finished, I was also in charge of chaptering the piece for DVD distribution which was so cool.
